At that time, also, he was late. A Culpeper man, busy with the occasion, /was trying to keep everything in order. “Everybody’s here and they axe ready to take pictures,” he exclaimed, “now, where in the b—’a the Governor?” And at hia elbow, in a quiet voice, came the reply, “Here I am, sir.”
