We like to print the news of the county. We like to tell all the nice things that happen to people. We like to print items of interest that occur in meetings in the county, such as the hoard of supervisors, and we would like to print the workings of the famous ladies’ town council of Washington. But here we must admit our short-comings (some more of them). We failed to attend the meetings of the ladies Tuesday night and when we tried to get the clerk’s records, in order to have an accurate account of what happened, the information was given that the ladies had voted to give out no information: if the pap$r wants to report on the happenings, Mt must Ihow 'suffioient interest to attend.
