On Radio Program
“Another disc Jockey end hi* ■wife,” **ya the Richmond Times* Dispatch in •peeking* of the new radio program on Saturday at 6 p.m., WRVA.
The musical program will he conducted by William Haaker, conductor of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, and hi* wife. He and Mrs. Haaker will discuss records as played and he will use Jus talent at the plane at times.
Mr. Haaker, a native of Albany, is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. When on a recent visit to Rappahannock in the interest of placing a summer music camp in the county, Mr. and Mrs. Haaker told of some of their work In previous yeaks, including a mUsi^ camp in the Ozarks.
The Sunday paper, which told of the coming radio program of the Haakers, carried a picture of the young conductor and his pretty wife.

Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Leonard, of Washington, D.C., entertained Sunday at “Mt. Pleasant” at dinner in honor of Mrs. Henry M. Huff’s birthday, having as their guests Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Racer, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Fincham, Miss Lois Racer and Carroll Racer, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard were weekend guests of Mrs. Huff at <4Mt. . peasant.”

Eastham, and Mrs. Arthur Miller. First prize was won by Mrs. Lewis Turner; traveling prize by Miss Minnie Williams, and Mrs. Frank Moffffett received the low prise.
