Mr. Barrie, at present, is serving as assistant executive secretary of the State Committee on Tuberculosis and Public Health of the New York State Charities Aid Association. He succeeds Miss Leslie C. Foster, who resigned last fall.
Mr. Barrie was born in New York and attended New York University and then did graduate work in the New York School of Social Work at Columbia University, receiving his Masters degree. — In 1938 he joined the staff of the National Tuberculosis Association in New York and was later assigned to the' Columbia, South Carolina Association as executive secretary.
He later became Health Education Demonstrator at Albany, New York and later assistant to the director of the Albany Tuberculosis Association. He has been on his present assignment in New York since 1948. t ' Mr. Barrie is a veteran of World
