Set For Saturday
With the number of entries . Jugh, the course declared one of the best end in top condition, judges and officials all eat and ready to go, Rappahannock Hunt’s Poin-to-Point Races need only the nod of approval from the weather' man to have Saturday, March* 31, * red-letter day'. Greenaway farm on the ton-Sperryvilie highway.
The course for the completed last week ah_ pervieion of F. M. Lewis, Lee Greenaway, and Jack DeBergh.
Entriep are good to date, with from four to ten scheduled for each race. Those riding from He Rappahannock Hunt will be Miss Florence Fitzgerald, Mrs. Lae Greenaway, Mrs. Jack DeBergh, George Bfdkop, John Ha^tigan, Wade H. Massie III, Dunny Eastham, Jack DeBergh, Lee Greenaway, and F. M. Lewis. .
In the open race, entries are in from Potomac, Redland, Warrentton, Blue Ridge, and Old Dominion hunts.
Billy Moffett reports that the Hound Race will have plenty of entries. Both the Hound Race and the Farmer’s Race have created a lot of Interest including a call from Life magazine.
Mrs. Maurice Fitsgerald of Washington, D. C., has donated the trophy for the heavyweight division of the- Mount Marshall Race. The Rappahannock Hunt has presented the trophies and prises for the other races and all trophies are on display at Lea Bros. Store in Washington.
