Mr. tad Mr*. Billy Curtis and daughter of Washington, D.C., were visitor* in the home of Will Walter Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Clarence Racer, Mrs. Ada Mae Anderson, Miss Margaret Compton and Mr*. Thirza Burke motored to Penn Laird, Rockingham county, yesterday to visit Mr. and Mrs. E. 8. Wagner: Mr. Wagner was formerly agricultural instructor in the Washington High School, and Mrs. Wagner was a welcome addition to the church choirs in the town.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith were dinner guests of Mrs. J. C. Cropp recently.
