Summer Concerts
Plans for the beginning of tbs consorts to be given by tbs Bios Ridge Music Festival Association have progressed to the point of setting the dates for the three events this year, August 18, August 19, and August 26.
William Haaker, director of the Virginia Orchestra of which the Blue Ridge organisation is a branch, and Mrs. Haaker, are spending two days in Rappahannock county this week conferring with local leaders and discussing further details of the summer plans. This includes the selection ' of a location which is suitable to accommodate the concerts and be available for the public. Attendance of tourists is anticipated in addition to the- several hundred Rappahannock residents who have reserved tickets for their use. . At a meeting of the committee last week, additional officers were elected; the full list to date includes the following:
