Pursuant to a decree of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, made and entered On the 22nd day of March, 1951, in the chancery cause of Mildred Wood Maney vs. Robert Bari Money et al, pending in the said Court, the undersigned Special Commissioners will offer for sale, at public auction, to the highest bidder at the front door of the Rappahannock County Court House, at Washington, Virginia, on '

TUESDAY, APRIL 24, 1951

Certain of the timber, situate and standing on the tract or parcel of land in Rappahannock County, near Sperryville, Virginia, adjoining Kilby, Estes and'others, being the land allotted to Mildred Wood Maney et al in the chancery cause of C. J. Miller, Jr., Exr. et al vs. Jonas Alther et al, the said timber comprising 645 trees, yellow poplar, red oak and other types.

The trees to be sold have been marked with an axe blaze, at breast height and below 'stump level, the lower blaze being stamped with the indented initials VS, the said marking having been, done by the Virginia State Forestry Service. This timber is being sold according to the report of Caleb M. Fenhoek, Jr., Forester, approved by George W. Dean, State Forester, which said report is dated March 1st, 1951. Copies of said report may be obtained from the undersigned Commissioners.

Purchaser will be allowed 18 months from date _pf confirmation of safe to cut and remove timber, the cutting and removing to be done with the least possible damage to the remainder of the stand of timber, and the lower blaze on each of the trees to be left intact. Existing roads used in this operation are to be kept in good condition at all times and to be left in the same condition at the completion of operations as they were when operations began. Lap wood is reserved to the owner of the land. Terms of Sale: Cash on confirmation of the sale by the Court.
