Robert Brown spoke to Amissville H. D. club Tuesday on County Government The hostess for the group was Mrs. Catherine Riley. Mrs. Joe. Hitt, federation chairman was in charge of the meeting and lead the discussion on this.
Mrs. Henry Sisk entertained F. T. Valley No. 2 H. D. club Tuesday. The group made plans for their federation goal and talk was given on County Government.
Mrs. Lois Snead talked to the Castleton H. D. Tuesday. Mrs. John Woodward was hostess for the day. Slip cover meeting was scheduled for this group March 25 and for anyone wishing to make slip covers in that vicinity. Flans for meeting the federation goals were discussed. Mrs. L. R. Hudson has completely renovated another chair, adding springs, tieing and reupholstering the chair. •The
Washington Sr. 4-11 club served a ham supper to the members of the 100 Bushel Com Club. LeKia Gentry gave an excellent talk on the goals of the County Council at the Leader Training meeting for both adult and junior leaders Saturday, Jack Tyree, associate state 4-H club agent, talked of the philosophy of 4-H work and part of the 4-H leaders. The county projects discussed were: Farm and Home Electric, Tractor Maintenance, Home Improvement
Junior leaders taking part in the meeting were: Betty Rutherford leading songs, Faye Black gave Bible reading and lead group in 4-H Pledge. Lelia Gentry presided at the meeting.
