Mrs. Harry L. Smith, who has been in Washington, D. C. for the past two weeks, returned Monday to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown. \ Mrs. Lucio J. Kilby and children, "fish,” “Tim,” an'd “Terry” accompanied her parents, Mr and Mrs. J. C. Mitchell of 'Applalachia to Florida last week where they are vacationing. Mr. and Mrs Maurice Manuel of Browntown and children, Wallace and Harriett were Sunday guests of Mrs. Manuel’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Schaefer. Mrs. Henry Lillard and her daughter, Miss Sailie Lilarld of Downingtown, Pa., who spent several days last week with Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Miss Ruth Menefee, returned to their home on Friday.
Week-end guests of Mrs. O. B. Swindler were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kazly and family, Miss Barbara Swindler of Brentwood, Md. Mrs. Russell Johnson is the guest this week of her sister, Mrs. Swindler.
Mrs. Lee Swindler, Mrs. Randolph Devers and Edward Estes attended the funeral of the late George Efferen in Washington, D. C. on Tuesday.
