AMISSVILLE BIBLE SCHOOL
An average of 55 persons have attended the Amissville Community Bible school conducted this week, July 13-17 in the Amissville Baptist church. Rev. Menchhofer is in charge of the school and is assisting the pupils with their woodwork.
Films have been used as a method of teaching the pupils about the great values. These films are highly recommended by 'the National Council of Churches. Wednesday’s film was No Greater Power; Thursday’s film, A Certain Nobleman; and Friday, (which will begin at 11:15) is Like A Mighty Army. All are invited to attend the movies.
GARDEN CLUB MEETS
Mrs. Galley Smith entertained (the* Flint Hill Garden Club on Tuesday evening. The program centered around the talk presented by Mrs. Gene Wood on Dried Arrangements.
