AUXILIARY MEETING

Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr. was hostess to the Ladies Auxiliary of Trinity Episcopal church at her home on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. J. W. Price, president of the auxiliary, , presided at the meeting. In the absence of Mrs. W. C. Hall, Mrs. Price conducted the devotional.

After the regular business was discussed the eleven members present decided to have a bake and antique sale. Mrs. Massie served delicious refreshments and a social hour was enjoyed.

Mrs. Clyde Baggarly invited tha Auxiliary to meet with her at Avon Hall in Septeml>er as there will be no August meeting.*

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reid of Rose Cottage entertained Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood and family at a picnic dinner on the lawn Sunday ftfternopn. Pfc: Aubrey Baldwin left Monday afternoon for Quantico. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Beahm, Jr., Miss Iva Burke, Mrs. Clarence Baldwin and Mrs. Oscar Baldwin accompanied Pfc. Baldwin back to camp. While stationed there, he will attend the Marine Corps school.
