Adwood,” as he is affectionately called, had his fifteenth birthday Aug. 5 and has quite a record. Since becoming the property of the . V.A.B.A. at the age of eleven years, he lias sired six thousand calves which is an indication of how the usefullness of an outstanding animal can be extended' through such a dairy cattle breeding program. His services are now available to Rappahannock farmers through the Rappahannock Artificial Breeding Association for which Gordon Thornhill, of Boston, is technician. (Telephone 3410)^
