Charles Bruce, Mrs. D. D. Miller and Mr. afid Mrs. Bruce Bowie attended the Firemen’s Banquet given by the Ladiefe Auxiliary of the Culpeper Fire Department, Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Burke of Oklahoma, Mrs.- Mary Burke and son, Eugene, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke when the host celebrated his birthday. Earl Burke, who has been with the Armed Forces for several years, will leave for Europe where he will be stationed for an indefinite length of time. Mr. Burke is now home on leave for 20 days. Mrs. Burke will remain with her mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Burke, until her husband is settled in his new post.
