Stationed In Japan

Beppu, Japan—Army Cpl. Chris C. Cook, whose wife, Betty, lives at 807 Waterloo St., Warrenton, Va., is now serving in Japan with the 187th Airborne Regipiental Combat Team.

Veteran of two combat jumps into Korea, the 187th "Rakkasans” fought as infantry with nearly every UN division; It is now stationed in Japan as a security force.

Corporal Cook, son of Mrs. F. Hoak, Washington, Va., entered the Army in' December 1950 and completed basic training at Fort Campbell, Ky. He holds the Combat Infantryman Badge and UN and Korean Service Ribbons.
