Henry Moton
Henry Moton, Jr., 87 colored, died at five o’clock last Saturday morning on the R. F. Cooksey farm near Flint Hill, where he had tended his .tobacco crop for many a year. Long a bmdrftark around Flint Hill community “Doody" will be remembered for his homemade philosophy and his ever-present knowledge of where the best fishing hole was located.
He was a son of the late Henry Moton and Mrs. Helen Lloyd Moton of Rappahannock County. He never married. He is survived by a brother, David Moton, of West Virginia;
