Tihe Rappahannock County Chapter of the Future Farmers of America sponsored their first \ Father-Son Banquet, Tuesday night, April 13 in the cafeteria of the Rappahannock County High School. In addition to commemorating the bond of cooperation between father and son, this banquet commemorated the spirit of Jefferson—whose birthday it was—among the first interested and active in developing scientific agriculture.
Following the delicious meal, prepared by Mrs. Lily Lillard and Mrs. John Updike, Vocational agriculture instructor, F. L. Hutchison, spoke to the F.F.A. youths and their guests.
