Mrs. T. J. Pillar entertained the ladies of the F. T. Valley H D club Thurday. Two’of this group hope to attend the district meeting and help with skit Mrs. Pillar, program development leader began these discussions.

Amissville H D club met at the Fire Hall Wednesday. Most of the members plan to attend the district meeting. The ‘demonstration was on inexpensive meat cookery using herbs. Pennies for Friendship! What are they? Why are they important? When and how are they used? Pennies for Friendshop have been given at each H D as gift to the A.C.W.W. The A.C.W.W. used these pennies to finance the Triennial Conference, to arrrange “exchange” programs between different countries and send representatives of country women to the “U. N."
