terpret eirly Rappahannock Court Days. ‘ Behind closed doors, in many a kitchen nowadays are being built by "the little women” such arcitectural projects as cabins, mills, mountains,_ streams, orchards/etc., to bemused in various interpretations of particular Rappahannock landmarks. One woman, we hear is actually making people! If so much time and ingenuity goes into the planning the show is bound to be interesting. Rappahannock had a good representation at Culpeper at the Shenandoah District Flower Show last' Saturday. Not only did many people from this count/ attend, but several ribbons were brought back by women, who entered that show, the most remarkable one to note was a composition made iby Mrs. Rayner V. Snead, which won the tri-color for the -Whole show, that is to say her, one composition won the three ribbons which mean “best in the show.”
The Rappahannock Garden Club has made application to try for the same special award which they won with their first flower show a few years ago. Only a very few such awards are won in the state and it is quite an honor to the club that won it on a first show. Gub members are going all-out to make this show so /beautiful that no one Can afford to miss. Schedules of the classes to be shown with a list of rules can be gotten from Mrs. Lewis Turner in. Washington, Mrs. Lucio Kilby in Sperryville, or Mrs. James Settle in Flint Hill.
