The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Company has chosen Miss Elizabeth H. Johnson* a. student at the Rappahannock County High School, as . its Honorary Fire Chief for the Firemen’s parade of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival on April 29. Miss Johnson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, C. E. Johnson, Jr., sings i» the Gle^ Club at her school, and is a member of the Varsity Cub and the Girl’s Auxiliary. Recently in a beauty contest sponsored by the Varsity Club, Miss Johnson was , selected “Queen Rappahannock.” She is also president of her Glass. Miss Johnson will be one of the entrants in the contest to be held at the Winchester* City Hall, just prior to the start of the Firemen’s parade, for the selection of the Honorary Out of Town, Fire Chief.
