; Wheat Buyers
All persons in Rappahannock County who plan to buy wheat this year are requested to turn in their names to the county Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation office. Mr. Barksdale, county ASC Chairman, is .requesting names of wheat buyers in order to make proper distribution of instructions and forms that buyers will require under the wheat marketing quota program. Wheat buyers will include intermediate buyers (those who buy for resale), warehousemen, elevator operators, feeders, and processors.
To acquaint them with responsibilities under the program, - and to explain the use of various' forms and reports that will be required, Mr. Barksdale has scheduled a meeting on June 8, 1954 at 2 p.m. in the Rappahannock ASC office, Bank Building; Washington, Virginia.
The ASC Chairman strongly urges every wheat buyer in die county to be present at this meeting. He also strongly urges that warehousemen and elevators bring with them to the meeting the persons responsible for maintaining records and bookkeeping. It is, planned that the forms and instructions be delivered to the wheat buyers at this marketing.
