In this class, practical everyday problems in the care of sick, were discussed. A ‘cheerful attitude, neat cleanliness and attractive simplicity were stressed as the primary requisites for a Home Nurse to practice. Demonstration of the proper way to feed the sick were given by Mrs. Webster with a period of practive allowed the students.
Among those taking the class were Mrs. John Barbour, Mrs. Ethel Bailey, Mrs. Mary Brown, Mrs. Carolyn Carter, Mrs. ^ Francis Carter, Mrs. M. M. Deering, Mrs. Lily Holland, Mrs. Havanna Jeffries, Mrs, Blanch Fletcher, Mrs. Margaret Hunter, Mrs. Virginia Fletcher, and Miss Lorrine Fletcher. MrS. Julai Boddie. and Miss Jacola Powell were enrolled in the dass^ but were unable to attend all of the classes.' *
