George Shruder, First Lieutenant, U. S., Army, nephew of Mrs. W. B. Dennis of Castleton, and graduate of. Sperryville High School; class of 1943, was killed with a fellow officer, in an accident at Gannis Air Field, eight miles from Fayetteville, N. C., May 1. ■ 1 ■
