Miss Lucy Conrad will speak before the flint Hill Woinen’s Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church, next Thursday May 19. Miss Conrad will speak on her native country, Canada, and and will also show slides. All mem* bers are urged to be present at this meeting which will be held in the home of Mrs. Carl Carpenter.
Auxiliary Meeting
Fifteen members were present at the regular meeting of the Auxiliary to the Amissvule Fire Department, Tuesday, May ljO at 8 o’clock. j
In the absence of the ajcting president the Secretary presided at the meeting. The Bake Sale Committee reported $70.80 profit from the sale
in Culpeper, April 30th. j
Interment was in City jHill Cemetery in Washington, D.| C.
