Horns tooted and the A. V- s backers broke loose with cheers in the seventh as with 2 men down they scored 7 runs. The terrific rally began as Russell doubled and Shiflett, Jenkins and Foster singled. Charles Foster’s homer over the left field fence, came in good time with 2 men on. Picfcrel and Eiger singled to sum up the 7 run rout.

With a lob sided 9-4 score, the teams entered the seventh. Excitement rejuvenated temporarily as Husky Scroggins hit a homer, unluckily with no men on base.

A single run was added by the A. C.Y in the eighth on a single by Pickrel and 2 errors.
