Nationally, droughts | in New York State and other production areas indicate some rise in hay pieces later, but Virginia hay is pretty much a local situatioin and Virginia hay prices should decline.
GRASS AND CLOVER SEED
Make plans' to buy grass and clover crop seed early. 'Except for Red Clover, which probably will come down, most of these seeds used in Virginia are now lower in price than last year. '
But there is a lot of talk about a government program to convert crop land into cover crops. This will stimulate seed demand.
