Slate Mills Baptist .Church holds Morning Worship Services at 11a.m. on 2nd and- 4th Sundays, with Sunday Church School at IQ a.m. each Sunday. Prayer meeting is held every Wednesday at 8 pm., followed by Choir practice. Rev. Clem A. Walters is pastor of the church and extends a cordial welcome to all. ■

The Sue Slaughter Group will meet at the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Thursday, October 20, beginning at 10:30 o’clock. The theme of the meeting is ‘Christ To The World We Bring’
Mrs. George Davis, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, will bring the missionary message. Mrs. Russell Brown, of Strasburg, will talk on the young people’s work. A talk on Community Missions will be given bv Mrs. W. C. Campbell.
The Reverend W. R» Snead will tell />f his trip to London, where he attended the Baptist World Alliance.
Mrs. Davis will give her talk, “Forward With Christ’’ in the morning session and in the afternoon the young people will present a playlet. Miss Russell Colvin will speak, in the evening, on the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. A discussion of the new mission study book will be lead by Mrs. Lawton Blankenbaker.
Members of the missionary groups as well as friends are invited to join in this day of study and prayer.
