T. meeting for 4-H leaders in “So You’d Like to Sew — Court Room at 10 a.m. Thurs., Oct. 20—Slate Mills H. D. at 7:30 at home of Mrs. Robert Boyd. . At the Forest Grove 4-H meeting the members elected Richard Compton as devotional leader. The boys selected “safety”’ as their project and the girl$ began work on “So You’d Like To Sew” for project work. Mrs. John Woodward is 4-H leader for this club.
Flint Hill 4-H met Monday. Plans for county council and achievement day were discussed. The girls began work on project, “So You’d Like to Sew.” Mrs. Frank Car)’, 4-H leader for group I, helped members in making a sewing box. Mrs. Mabel Lillard. 4-H leader for group II, helped 4-H’ers with making a needle case.
Jimmy Williams opened Reager 4-H meeting by reading the Psalm 27. Jessie Williams presented the program. How To Give A Demonstration by capably setting a table.
The group of girls then began to make a sewing box, the first article in the So You’d Like To Sew project. Sperryville I continued the election of officers in their October meetng as follows: Song leader,
