Mrs. Dorothy Davis, mayor of Washington, appeared as a contestant on the Herb Shriner TV quiz program, Two For the Money, Saturday night at 9 o’clock (on channel 9) originating from New York City. Mrs. Davis’s partner was Mr. Lavencher, councilman from a small town in upstate New York. is 300 pounds left little room on the TV screen for anyone else. Mrs. Davis said the question asked her most frequently since she arrived home Sunday morning was "Did he really weigh 300 pounds-” "No,” he didn’t weigh 300, he weighed 338 pounds.” Motoring to Washington, D. C. Friday, Mrs Davis boarded a plane for New York. The arrangements very “cut and dried,” were made by Herb Shriner’s staff. “We didn’t see anymore of him. in person, than you did on your TV set. “He is actually better looking than he is on the screen.”
After asking Mrs. Davis and her partner a few questions about their home towns, Herb explained the game to the contestants.
