Mr. and Mrs. John T. Gloud visited Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Cloud in Amissville, Sunday.

William “Billy” Ramey -spent Thursday and Friday in Front Royal and Washington visiting his parents. Billy will leave for overseas duty around the 29th.

Mr. and Mrs Cleve Ramey of Slate Mills were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Updike.

The Reverend Anderson Goodson and daughter were Saturday night callers on Mr. and Mrs. Jack Barber and family. Mrs. C. J. Stuart returned home Saturday after spending a week with her husband in Petersburg.

Mrs. R. J. Biedler spent Friday thru Sunday wth her mother, Airs. H. J. Racer. Mr. Biedler arrived in Washington Sunday, afternoon, and later in the evening the Biedlers left for their home, in Washington, D. C.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Frazier and George and William Fraz.ier of Richmond were guests Sunday of Air. and Airs. L J. Turner. Dr. James Turner of South Hill and the Reverend Vines Turner of Jarratt were overnight guests Sunday of the Turner family.
