The W. M. S. df the Flint Hill Methodist Church met with Mrs. H. S. Barksdale at 7:30 Thursday evening. The program chairman, Mrs. Barksdale; the theme, “Find Grace to Help in Time of Need.” Mrs. Paul Miller led the devotionals. Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. Eva Smith and Mrs. M. R. Bradford took part ort the program. During the business session two hundred dollars was voted for the building fund. Planv were completed for week of prayer. The class will be held October ^0 at 3 o’clock in Methodist Chuich.
Others present 'were Mrs. E. M. Eastham, Mrs, M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. C.j G. Reid, Sr„ Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Emory Russell. The W. M. S. will meet with*Mrs. G. W. Smith in November.

As the highlights jof a six weeks attendance contest, the Methodist Youth Fellowship ehjoyed a “hot dog” supper at the church, Wednesday evening. All the members were in attendance numbering thirty as well as two adult leaders, and the pastor, A. D. Goodson.
The girls helped prepare the plates, open bottles of soft drinks, and pass additional sandwiches and potato chips.
Each boy and girl signed a regist*- and all sang hymns together and Mr. Goodson asked the blessing before supper. After, the meal they spent about half an hour in practice for a special number for the Sunday morning service. The regular youth program followed. Guest during the program was Rev. John Divers of the Baptist Church. j
Several young people bought their tickets for the district banquet which was held in Culpeper Methodist Church, Monday evening. i
