Letter To The Editor
Just as our County Agent assists farmers organize for group study and group action, our Home Agent helps the women (as well as the 4-H girls) through organization, in attaining a better Ii\ing standard for every home. Through the organization of Home Demonstration Clubs in communities she attempts to reach all interested women (interested in,their neighbors and community) through this worthwhile work.
The principal- purpose of these organizations is to develop leadership and help the women help themselves by understanding better ways of doing things—better ways which have resulted fr>m scientific study and experiment. It is exceedingly difficult to accurately evaluate all that a Home Agent rontributes to this educational program.
We as H. D. members are certain of one thing, the H. D. Agent should be continued in Rappahannock County’. There is much to be done in our County and we feel it endeavor.
