vent enforoed integration. The thirty-two members of this commission, all legislators, deliberated r for fourteen months. When the Gray Commission proposals were made public, it was seen that they were fraught with implications. It was fitting and proper that the , Front Royal PTA should have recognized its obligation to help the public to inform itself on both aides of the issue, and to have the opportunity to hear all shades of _ considered opinion. Therefore, a committee was set up by the PTA, including citizens from different sections of Warren County, to study the Gray report in an effort to understand its impact on the^ welfare of our children. It is only 1 natural that, in a group which represents various shades of opinion, . there could be no unanimous agreement for or against the Gray proposals. Those who felt that the adoption of the proposed constitutional amendment would be to the best interest of the public, have set forth the reasons for their conclusions. The members who felt that the adoption of the amendment was detrimental to the best interest of the public, have stated -their .reasons.
