CHESTER GAP

Car] Louck had the misfortune to fall Friday at his home, fcnd break his leg in two places. He was removed to the Warren Memorial Hospital, where the leg was set and'put in a cast. He returned to his home here Saturday, and is doing nicely.*

Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Kenny of Linden, Visited her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ermond Morris, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Reil and children of the Fork (District, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Williams and family.

Miss Louise Williams has been suffering with an infected ear.

Mrs. Sherman Williams was hostess to a Stanley Party at her home last Thursday. BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT

Mr. and Mrs. Murphy Reid, formerly of Rappahannock County, are receiving congratulations on the birth of a son, Murphy Julian Reid, II, born January 17th at Front Royal Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Reid and infant son have returned to their home in Owings Mills, Maryland, where Mr. Reid works for the William F. Easton Co. The Reids also have a daughter, Beverly Bene.
