Mr. Paul Nichols, Scoutmaster, took Buddy Lillard, Buddy Moore end J. G. Russell to the second session of Scout College in Lurxy, Friday evening .The boys continued their studies on Scout Leadership, begun last week. Buddy Moore had not gone the first time but went in (dace of Charles Brady this week. .[ Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke Sunday were: Misses Marie and Mary Burke, of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Chad well and sons, Jackie and Ronnie, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke, Mrs. Louise Ritenhpur and son, Elmer Jr., of Front Royal, Mr. George Renninger of Strausburg. The occasion being Mr. Burke’s birthday.
Boy Scout Troop #36 met on Thursday March 15 at the Methodist Church in Flint Hill. There were 20 scouts present and everyone was in full uniform. A troop inspection was conducted by Mr. Bradley, the scout executive from Winchester. After the inspection and business session was over the meeting was adjourned.
