Mrs. Katie Tapp, welt known in Amissville community died in the Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday March 11. She had been in ill health for some time, but took a turn for the worse on Tuesday and had an operation Tuesday night. She had been there five days. She was the widow of John Griffin Tapp who died a number of years ago. She was 82 yrs. of age a good wife and neighbor. She will be greatly missed.
The deceased was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Elisabeth Maddox Leach, bom in Warren county, September 23 1873.
