Mr. and Mrs. Roy Trout entertained at dinner on Sunday, having at their guests Mr. Trout’s brother, Bill Trout of North Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Pullen, and Misses Ruby, and Audrey Pullen, also Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and daughter, Wilma.
Mrs. R. W. Miller returned to the University Hospital where die expects to be for several days.
Mr. knd Mrt. Cabell Woodward of New York are spending several days at the Lee Highway Hotel as the guests of Mr. Woodward's aunt, Mrs. Holmes Hall.
Mrs. Brown Miller, who has been at the University Hospital for the past week returned to her home near Peola Mills on Friday. Mrs. Mildred Miller Thornton, of Richmond, was an over night guest Monday of Jier son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Fletcher of “Thornton Hill”.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wood had with them for dinner Monday at “Erin’', Mr. and Mrs. Rapley Shackelford and their son, Henry. The occasion was Mr. Shackelford's birthday anniversary.
Eustice DeVore of Washington, D. C.. is spending this week at the Lee Highway Hotel.
