Royal, is scheduling a gala Gravid Opening event for three days this week, beginning Thursday. The opening celebration will take place in their new remodeled quarters, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Purpose of having the Grand Opening is to show customers and friends the new added rooms, and to display a new and diversified line of building materials. The new showroom will provide the firm with new Space to display new added products ^vhich the Golladay Building Supply Company will handle. It also provides needed additional space to provide customers with better service. When all arranged, the new showroom will have the most modern features of any lumber business in the Shenandoah Valley.
The firm is adding new line and features to be handled in the future: knotty pine furniure, new line of hand tools, Reynolds "Do-It-Yourself" Aluminum, Better Homes and Gardens Handy Plana for “Do-It-Yourself”, the Devoe Paint Line and fibre-glai s screens. All of these items plus many others will be added to have one of the most complete lines of building supplies to be found anjwhere.
Golladay Building and Suppler Company Is occupying quarters formerly had by the Wall Motopr Company, in addition to older quarters- The quarters purchased by Golladay, have been remodeled and give the firm a total of about 10,000 square feet. On opening day the firm plans to have many product representatives on hand to demonstrate the lines to be featured.
