R. L. Brown, County Treasurer, will be in his office until 4 p.m, Saturday to receive taxes.

$400 Under Last Year
Contributions to. the 1964 Can* eer Society fund amounted to 1208.26, as of May 2. Rappahannock’s 1965 gift to the Society; amounted to slightly lea than 1600; therefore, if we are to surpass last year’s contribution, we must raise approximately $400 more. Please tend your chock, payable to the American Cancer Society, to H. B. Winfrey, chairmen, or to the Rappahannock National Bank, or give your contribution to any of several high school students who are working as solicitors.
