Mrs. John J. Miller
Mrs. Evelyn Tyler Miller, 86, widow of former State Senator John J. Miller, of Washington, Rappahannock County, died in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, on Sunday night after an illness of six months.
Mrs. Miller was a sister of J. Hoge Tyler, former governor of Virginia from 1898 to 1902. She was married to Mr. Miller from • the governor’s mansion in 1900.
She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. James M. Settle, Flint Hill, with whom she lived for the past 16 years; Col. B. F. Miller, Richmond; G. Tyler Miller, president of Madison College, Harisonburg; W. Arthur Miller Washington, and; Mrs. Charles Loomis Booth, Athens, Greece. Also 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.
