Flint Hill Fire House
Skills and talents of several varieties were in evidence when Rappahannock county Home Demonstration clubs held their annual achievement day October 5 at Flint Hill fire house. The judges, Mrs. W. T Williamson, J. P. Cook, Mrs. Virginia D. Smith* started their work at 11:30 and >due to the number of exhibits and the exceptional quality were kept busy until nearly 1 ••00.
Mrs.. W. A. Gentry, county chairman, acted as master of ceremonies, and introduced the Rev. A. D. Goodson, who pronounced the invocation and blessings before lunch. Members of Flnt Home Demonstration dub served lunch to about forty people. Mrs. J. H. Pearman of Amissville led the group in two songs following lunch, after which guests were introduced. These included Sirs. W. S. Crane, president of District 8, of the Federation of Home Demonstration dubs, M«. J. P. Schanserand, Mrs. L. ft. Weld of Arlington, and Mra. W. Goode Robinson of I. vnchbura.
