Other exhibits were braided rugs, a quilt, hand knitted articles sewing, home made bread, electric lam os made from oil lamps, lamp shades, ceramics a 4-H club exhibit including a chart of native trees, done bv Mary Frances Pullen who took the home grounds beautification nroiects this summer.
Mrs. Pobinson told of a survey to be made this year on the work being done on home and eeneral safety, and then explained a safe (in'oine course to be offered bv the flubs for drivers and non drivers, chr said that safety began in the homes with attitudes'. It was pointout how wives and mothers could set the tone of family life, love loyalty, understanding, affected umnle and helped them maintain right thinking as drivers.
Mrs. Gilbert Updike of Washington, Va. announced a banner to be given to the outstanding rlub of the year. She showed a replica of the proposed banner and explained the symbols and ogigih of the Home Demonstration seal which will be featured on the banner. A score card was given for iudging the cubs.
