The Slate Mills Home Demonstration Cub met at the home of , Mrs. C. S. Fender Monday evening with 10 members and 2 visitors present. An interesting demonstration on Curtain and Draperies was given by the County Agent, Mrs. Elizabeth Poweis, who alsoj showed samples and gave statistics on wearability, cost and upkeep of different fabrics. Officers v 'ere electd for the coming year. Pennies for Friendship were taken. [
