Rules For The 1956
Poster Contest
Any student enrolled in the public school system * within the counties of Culpeper, Orange, Madison, Green and RAPPAHANNOCK is eligible to participate.
Posters are to be the original work of the contestant and represent farm conservation of natural resources, soil, water, wildlfie, and forestry. It is recommended that two- or more phases of conservation be displayed on posters.
A $2.00 cash award will be given to the winner of each grade in the county.
In addition, first, second, and third place awards ($5.00, $4.00 and $3.00 will be given in the district.
Cash prizes for State winners will also be awarded. The high school in the State with the largest per cent of participation in the contest will be issued a certificate
