The drive for funds for the Shenandoah Area Council, Boy Scouts of America is now on, the County Chairman, Mrs. George. H. Davis has announced the following District chairmen: Hampton, the Rev. John R. Frizzell. ~Wakefield John S. Browning. •Stonewall and Piedmont, Mrs. Lee Thornton and Mrs. W. B. Kilby, Chester Gap, Merritt A. _ Greeley.
To date no chairmen have been named for Hawthorne and Jackson Districts. Governor Thomas B. Stanley is State chairman.
The 1956 Fund Drive is the second conducted in all areas of the state at the same time. It ends on Tuesday October 23 and all persons interested in the work of this organization are asked to see theiri district chairman and contribute as liberally as possible. .— 7 ■
