Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hawkins of Washington, Va. have announced the engagement of .their daughter, Mabel Ann, to Sgt. Charles Henry Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Brown of Sperryville.
Miss Hawkins is a graduate of R a p p a h a n n o ck County H igh School Class of 1956. She is now employed by Merrill Motor Co in Washington, Va.
Sgt. Brown is now serving with the Armed Forces in Fort Carson, Colorado. No date has been set for the wedding.
