SARAH ELLEN SISK

Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 11,, 1956 at 2:00 p.m., in the Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. John D. Divers conducting the services for Mrs. Sarah Ellen Lehew Sisk, wife of Aldridge Dolphos Sisk, who died on November 9, at Warren Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Interment was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Sisk was born August 9, 1876, in Rappahannock, where she lived her entice life. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters; Mrs. Verlie Bennett, Mrs. Dorothy Atkins of Flint Hill. Va„ and Mrs. Belle , Pullen of Smedley. Va.,; two sons, Irvin Sisk, of Washington, Va., and Reid Sisk, of Strasburg, Va. Another son, Elmer Branson Sisk, died many years ago.

Mrs. Sisk is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.

Active pallbearers were. Irving Sisk, Jr., Paul Bennett. Charles Sisk, Raymond Pullen. Gibson Wharton, and Elwood Welch. Friends;of the family were flower bearers.
