EGGS

After a considerable drop last week, egg prices should hold their own at least through the week. Warm weather has been holding up production, but a cold snap would soon turn tne tables.

Last week Richmond A Large eggs were 46c a dozen, 5c below last week; Harrisonburg was 4c lower at 46c; and Roanoke, 3c off at 45c to 48c. Mediums in Virginia were mostly 1 to 2c lower at around 32c. The New York market was 2 to 4c olwer topping at 46c.

TURKEYS

With Thanksgiving delivery prices already set, turkey' prices should be about steady: this week.

Virginia prices: Beltsville, 25V& to 26c; heavy hens, 26c; and heavy toms, 23c to 24c.
