In discussing the appointment of Senator Dalton, Dr. Glendy pointed out that the new chairman received his A. B. Degree rfom William and Mary in 1924 and his law degree from the same institution in 1926. He has practiced law in Radford since 1928 and has represented the Twentyfirst Senatorial District in the Virginia Legislature since 1924. This district includes Franklin, Montgomery, and Roanoke counties and the city of Radford.
