The Rappahanr the Methodist Chprch recently complete of a new parsonagel that'cost just over $18,000.00, njot having: the money on hand,, thf trustee’s borrowed a sum of ,200.00 that was to be paid back annually at the rate of $1,200.00 per year. The question as to jhe best means
of repayment, brought out several suggestions, but thep an idea! that seamed to fit the situation best was
called “The Parsonage Club” plan.
The plan was a pimple one, and one that wciuld allow most of the members toi participate. It asked that every person who would, and could, pay one dollar o month to make known their desire for membership in the club.| By this method, if 100 persons! were to join,
that would make available $1,200., over the period of cine year, if 150 were to join it would make available $18.00 scale.
